Okay, I'm on my soapbox now. I have a new gripe. Why can't we find anything, especially baby toys (teething rings, etc), made in the good old USA? Because we pay the people in China $0.17/hour? I know companies are out to make a buck and save everywhere they can, but I would be willing to pay more to buy stuff made here in the United States. All I can say is, Christmas is going to be anorexic this year, mainly because I've made more bills than I make money, but also because I'm doing my best not to buy products made in China or anywhere else except the U.S. I used to put people down for not buying foreign made products, but now I understand their point. I'm afraid to buy for my grandkids because they may get some kind of lead poisoning or something. Then the lady at Walmart got an attitude with me when I said something about not being able to buy stuff made in our country. Let me say this to her: PPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I don't know how to spell how a raspberry sounds). I know things can be found made in USA, I'll just have to look for it. I found that some of the Little Tykes toys are made here. They even have a place on their web site that lists all the toys made here. It just takes one bad product and one child for a disaster. I don't want that child to be one of my grandchildren. I love them too much. And if anyone has anything against that? Kiss my booty! I'll just love them that much more!

About Me
- Vicki
- I am now an RN. I love taking pictures, especially of my grandchildren. I love taking care of people and wish there was more time to do it. Management puts so much paperwork and picky stuff on us we really don't have time to do the job we are destined to do.

I remember when WalMart stressed that every thing they sold was made in the USA. What ever happened to that??
Oh and hi Vicki
Hi Patty! I told that lady at Walmart that Sam Walton would probably turn over in his grave, and she said they probably didn't leave him enough room to do that. I did find out today that everything I clean with is made here. But it's the stuff you'd like to buy for others that's made overseas. I don't have anything against the people, it's just I feel like I need to support my own country.
